Baking Potatoes...

So on Saturday I cooked steak and it's probably one of the best steaks I've ever cooked! I made a peppercorn sauce to go with it which was pretty good too but the recipe, if it can be called that, for this post uses the baking potatoes from the current Super 6. This is a Jamie Oliver recipe and it worked perfectly for me!

Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

Baking Potatoes
Oil
Salt
Pepper

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 200°c/180°c Fan/Gas Mark 6. Boil a large pan of water.
  2. Give your potatoes a wash then cut them in half length ways then into wedges.
  3. Put the wedges in the pan of boiling water for 8 minutes. Drain and leave to dry for a few minutes.
  4. Place in a roasting tin with a good glug of oil, coat all the potatoes and season well.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
  6. Serve & Enjoy!

These are sooo easy to make and taste so much better than shop bought wedges.
I had the leftovers the next day covered in cheese and bacon, yum!

Em x
